wish I had room to hang clothes out. neighbor has one (no fence between us we are in the boonies) and I don't think she uses it any more. May ask if I may . Miss the smell of wind blown clothing.

I have one...wish it would go away, I could use the cupboard space!!! I have not used it once in 6 years!
I use mine for storing pots and pans and plastic storage thingys. I have never used mine .............
Well, duh! How dumb can I be  Perfect solution. I'm on a septic system too (love the farm life) and I didn't know dishwasher detergent had bad stuff for it. I know my DH puts a gallon of bleach in our cistern occasionally to make sure our water is germ free.

I miss the crispness of sheets dried on a clothes line.
Also the smell of sun dried clothes.

Yup - same here. I figure if I can process up to 700 jars of food a year (when the kids were all home) without a dishwasher, i do not need one.

Diapers are softer in the dryer. Your quilt looks so wonderful on the line.

Dryer does keep diapers soft, but sunshine helps bleach out stains with fewer harsh chemicals. I liked the very white diapers and seldom used disposables.

I love clothes lines and have always had one here in the city.
We just repaved our patio, put up a fence for the new dog and I got a new clothes line.
Much shorter than yours, and retractable.
I checked out Lehman's on line and decided it was not what I needed.
CAN NOT WAIT to hang a quilt and take a photo.
gotta get a quilt done first!
    :)
