I have seen these clothesline kits sold at Lehman's in Kidron, Ohio, which is in amish country here in Ohio. I long for a clothesline but DH says it would make our property look "junky"

So everyone with a clothesline, enjoy it for me!!!

Diapers are softer in the dryer. Your quilt looks so wonderful on the line.

I miss my clothsline! We moved and I had to leave it behind, it was a nice deluxe one my dh built. The new owners tore it out. We use drying racks a lot and hang things on the shower rod in our spare bathroom. It does help on the electric bill and we get by just fine, but I miss my clothsline for sure.

I totally agree with only having diapers for dusting. Don't have a clothes line like this one, but I have one and use it all the time. Nothing like fresh sheets off the line. ahhhhh!

My neighbor has one like that, but she didn't spend much on hers. It's just a basic pulley system and you should be able to buy most everything you need from your local hardware store..depending on the line you use

I so want a clothes line. But there isn't he room in the little yard we have now. I told my hubby that is the first thing we will get when I move into my farm house.

I remember using the sheets that were drying on my mom's clothes line to make forts with as a little girl. Would make mom mad as all get up cause we would get her clean sheets dirty clipping them to the fence or the tree but it was great fun for my sisters and I as kids.

Oh the fun to be had as a child. I loved hanging clothes out as a child. Really miss it now.

Living near Amish country in Ohio, I see that set up all the time and have wanted one. I don't hang many clothes out since it's just DH and me, but it sure would have been handy when I was doing diapers for all three children!!
