Thanks for all the nice comments! My grandaughter is going to be 12yrs next month & the bright colors suit her personality very well. I'm working on another bright one for my mom but I've been busy with a new job & so it's been taking me a long time to get the borders on. :D

Pam--what a beautiful quilt!!! I love the bright fabrics that you used. Have you given it to her yet?
I use CW repros and KTQ fabrics, and mostly muted tones for quilts for my house. I love to make a quilt for someone else and use bright colored fabrics. It just makes you feel cheery to sew with them. You must have felt that way making this quilt, I just love it--thanks for sharing,She has seen it because I gave it to her on Christmas Eve, but I asked her if I could hang on to it until I could get a photo of it on a sunny day. It has taken awhile to get that sunny day. They are in the process of moving so I am going to give it to her again next week when they are all moved into their new house. I figured it was one less thing to have to move. I love the muted tones too but it is fun to work with bright fabrics! :D
