I finished block 8 today... but I was sewing lost in the fibro fog and made the center star the wrong color. Now I have to do them over. Uggg...

Sorry, wildyard. I still have the block 8s to make too. I need to finish them up so I'll have a clean slate for Monday when the new clue comes out.

Sewbizgirl, that looks great! I had my doubts about the complicated directions of this quilt and wondered how it would look in person. Thanks for showing your progress. It's not too late to jump in. I may have to now.

That's going to be a gorgeous quilt. I have last year's but haven't gotten to it yet.
Being organized as you are will make the whole process a lot more enjoyable! Can't wait to see the progression.

The only thing complicated about this was the cutting. But once that's done up front, the sewing is really simple. There are only two simple blocks, done with strip piecing and then cross cutting. Jump in!

Me... organized? Ha ha Susie, I am rarely accused of that!

Here are the clue #8 star blocks, bringing me up to date for Monday's next clue:

WOW! You are making great progress Sewbizgirl. Your quilt is going to be fantastic. I just took my BOW quilt that I finally finished on Friday over to the LA quilter. It is the one that is called "Rest and Refreshing". Now I am anxious to pull fabrics for this current one. It seems easy but my time is so limited to sew. Hopefully will get civil war fabrics pulled today and get cutting out some pieces. Thanks so much for sharing your progress and keep the pictures coming.

I got mine done also, correctly this time. lol I have to say that the ones I made wrong were in fact the flattest, neatest and prettiest of the bunch of stars. Figures! LOL

I love your fabrics, Wildyard. I'm still getting the hang of how to trim those FG so I don't lose my star points. Each one I make gets a little better.

Jordan, thanks. I can't wait to see your Rest and Refreshing. I made that one too. Love it.
