Sewbizgirl-Love your blocks so far and they are coming along so nicely. I can't wait to see my "Rest and Refreshing" quilt done. I will probably be bothering my LA quilter quite often. Guess I will be a pesty lester to her and she may just want to get it done so I don't pester her all the time!! LOL
You are really progressing on the blocks. I don't really want to put orange in my blocks so I think I will look for another color. Better go to stash bins and see what I can find. Keep us updated on your progress.

    Thanks, I will!

I hope we see some more pics of other people's Double Irish Stars. Who's got some?

I am still debating on whether to start. You chose great fabrics and your blocks are beautiful.

Thank you, BB. I had wanted to use all civil war fabric, but didn’t have enough of the right colors. So I ended up bringing in some Thimbleberries-type fabrics and others that were compatible. I really wanted to use as much stash fabric as possible. Glad you like them.

I have a ton of Thimbleberries so it will be easy for me to gather up what is needed. Just need to find the time to do all that cutting.

I think Thimbleberries look great in this design.
