Where did you get the fabric with the dragonflies? Is the Celtic Knot appliqued or embroidered?

I love that you used broidery perse to applique.
I met a woman at a quilt show last fall that did beautiful broidery perse.
I love your celtic knot. It's perfect with the dragonflys. Nice work.

the fabric with the dragonflies is the same fabric as the flowers- all of those came from one piece of fabric- visited a little lqs about 100 miles from me- she had a quilt with this fabric- i asked if she still had the fabric she told me no- it sold out fast---then after some shopping time she asked me how much of it i wanted- that she had 'stuck some away' for herself and was willing to part with a little bit- i bought a yard- i will have to when i get home see if i have a salvage that identifies it---im at work right now-
as for the Celtic Knot---it is appliqued-
it is a pattern from - "Another by Anita" she has a large selection of wonderful stained glass applique patterns- and uses a very (beginner friendly) technique....i'm going to try out a couple more of her patterns- she just expanded her selection.

Would you say the the Broidery perse is the same as what is not called fussy cutting fabric???? That is what I am thinking.
Love your quilt and using and incorporating the celtic and Broidery perse was a great idea.

fussy cutting and broidery perse applique are 2 different techniques- fussy cutting is when you center a certain design- cut it out with a template or ruler & use it in a pieced block-
broidery perse is an applique technique where you cut out the actual motif & applique it onto a background.
