why are you calling them 'flimsy tops' ? they do not look like they are made of flimsy fabric- they both look really nice- personally I like the second one best- but both are nice- just wondering about the 'flimsy' reference???

Both are great! My favorite is the first, because of the colors!

A flimsy is an unquilted top. I think the term originated in other countries (England? Australia?), but it's become fairly common here too. Edited to add that I really like the two tops. The fabrics are wonderful, and the patterns are interesting. Just keep it up and you'll have them all made and quilted in time.

Love the lime and black. The other is pretty too - but love your approach to these fabrics.

I think you can do it...just stay off the computer too much as it tends to eat up time!

    And beautiful tops!
