My DS and DIL are expecting their first baby in June. It is a boy. I have had this crib quilt top done for several years and just didn't get it quilted yet. Now I have an excuse to get it done. So this will be the baby's first quilt from this Grandmother. I am sure I will be making at least one more if not more. This is the Boston Commons pattern from Eleanor Burns.

Isn't life grand? Congrats! He will love it and it will keep him warm and snuggly. I am sure you will be making more quilts and all kinds of neat things for him. I know I have since I have had grandkids.

Is this your first grandchild?? I am expecting (7 weeks from today) and my little girl (the first grandchild for both sides) already has an entire trunk full of all size blankets and quilts :)
