    I think she means Folded Mexican Star. There is a pattern I've seen for a folded Mexican Star somewhere. Try these:

    O.K. I will do my best to tell you how. Cut a 6 and a half inch circle rfom one fabric and a 4 inch square from another, cut a 4 inch sqare of wadding. Turn in and tack a quarter inch seam on the circle then place the wadding under the 4 inch fabric sqare and place in the middle of the circle. Fold the circle over the square on each side and slip stich making sure the corners are precise. This method of patchwork can be made any size, just cut the square one and a half inches less than the circle. To join, place two units faceing and slip stich on the back.
