that is really a nice quilt. If you are not an experienced quilter I would suggest straight lines. Yoiu can mark the quilt where you choose to quilt with painters tape and then stitch right next to the tape, being caregul not to sew into the tape

Love it! How about a large meandering pattern. I was able to get some on a roll of paper. I am sure that as a student that would be out of your budget but you could practice on paper and then go for it. Good luck!
