    Default "New" Machine

From the serial number, I think this was manufactured in 1954. It looks almost as if it has never been used. The box is still very sturdy and has almost no blemishes on it. It seems to sew perfectly fine. I'm going to try to make my BOM on it this time and see what happens.

My MIL gave it to my husband the last time he visited because she doesn't sew "anymore". I've known her 23 years and had no clue she had EVER sewn. She has farmed it all out to other family members as long as I have known her.

I just bought one just like yours. It too looks like it has never been used. Maybe I
will try it out soon. Good catch

Beats me if it is a blue centennial badge, but I don't think so.

That's the very best way to get a Featherweight, from someone in the family in mint condition!
