    I think you are lucky to have something as precious from your mother. I was an adopted child and got nothing from the estate but the Bible I had given to my mother and a set of walnut candlesticks. All the quilts disappeared immediately and years later I saw one of my mom's quilts on a nephew's bed in DC.
