I like that block! Sounds like a fun pass around. Hope everybody keeps up with it! Can't wait to see what you get at the end of the 12 months!

What a great block. Is it your own pattern? I love it.

I really like your block. Was any of it paper pieced?

You make the block out of only the material that is in the box?!?
Do you add more as you go? Is six fat quarters enough to make 12 blocks? I guess it would depend on how big the blocks are!
Sorry for all the questions, I just think it is a really cool idea! I think I may have to mention it to my LQS owner!
    Thanks for the great idea!!!
    :D

Originally I think she was only suppose to have 6 participants but 12 of us showed up with boxes of fabric and I think by looking at them there was plenty more fabric in each one, enough for 12 blocks. I took more up and added to my own before it was handed out to somone. Everybody has to make 12 inch blocks. Can't wait to get my second box in two weeks so I can make another pattern from the collection with a totally different box to work with. At the end of 6 months quilt shop giving a lunch and gab session so everyone can see what 6 of their blocks look like so far.
