I'm sure you will love your new Pfaff! I have a Pfaff 2030, which is 10 years old, and has never given me a problem. You'll really like not having to use a walking foot. Your picture looks like a much newer version of my 10 yr. old.

    Have fun!
    Sue

Enjoy your new Pfaff. You know, that because you are a Pfaff owner, you can now call yourself a Pfaffie....
I have a 1471 also. I love, love, love that machine. I've been having some trouble lately.

At the Sewing Expo in Washington State I purchased a 4.0. I will be taking classes on it on Monday. Can't wait to get into it. (I'm keeping my 1471 set up and ready to use also. I will be having it serviced and then it just might be as good as new!)

Let me tell you, it scares me. I've got it all set up and now I going to read the instructions. I'm sure we'll become good friends.

I've put my Janome at the other side of the table so I can use her as well
Don't be scared! I recently got the pfaff expression 2.0 and it didn,t take long to learn it. Of course your's is the top of the line and has more bells and whistles. Just sit down and read the book and then "play" with it. I am SOOO jealous.
