    Thanks girls! Very simple design, but, like someone said early in the thread. It is a good design to not cut up the fabric too small. Besides, I don't work hard on my own things. LOL!

    Yes Cooky I sure do. I used the Hobbs 80/20. I like it for the placemats and it was left over from another project, so free! LOL... I get it from connecting threads on line now. I buy enough to get the free shipping and so that makes up for the postage costs. They do put it on sale a couple times a year and I buy then.

    Too cute. My daughter has just moved into her own apartment and has asked me for placemats. I like this simple pattern and think I'll use it. Thanks for the inspiration
