    It is the first cotton bag that I will admit I would make and use. I am very picky about my purse as I do a lot of outside selling to my clients, I usually carry a leather bag and brief bag(salespersons credentials). But this one would be a help to me and done in a nice tapestry with pleated leather at the top and a 3" piece with a weighted fob or broach to flip over the top of the bag, yeh, this would work. You have a great pattern.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback!!!! Perhaps a closure for the next bag.....
    The outer pocket I am afraid would take away from the classy look - I wanted this one to be sleek and clean....but, I think anothe version with outside pockets would be another great pattern!!!
