okay here is a new quilt I was thinking of. I got the idea for the block from another member here.

I am just not so sure of the colors I am horrible at picking out colors so what do you think

The pink in the back ground was left over from something else its dose not need to go into this quilt. but I may use some of it for border or backing


The main color in the block will be the red and blue floral in the back of the picture
The little blue squares are of the (almost) solid blue

sorry for the confusion when its together it makes a cool design.

I was just wondering if the colors of the fabric was okay
I can never pick out good colors
when I was in art I only liked graphite drawings lol no color theory

I like the fabrics you got but I wouldn't use the pink even if it was for the back, but that is me. and I like both blocks you have shown.

They're both really nice looking blocks. My eye keeps going to the one on the right. I think the blue, with the spotted on the background would look nice. Would the smaller brown squares be that same spotted fabric?

Your fabrics are pretty. I think I would leave the pink out too!

I like all but the pink too, I actually have that pink, and I used it in a quilt. I hate that quilt because of that pink. The quilt will be donated to a local charity.
