    They are probably 3 equalateral triangles for the box, one tri for the bottom and all sewed double, turned and then sewed together by hand and the tips turned over and buttoned.

    I would probably figure out a way to sew them on the machine and make two sets with batting and then turn and button...let me see if I can do it after I finish my bat.

    I was thinking the same thing as dd about using the thread cathers for M&M's or candy corn.
