I made this birthday quilt for my nephew, Terry Lee. Also made a WVU throw pillow to go with it. The quilt has to do with astronomy.

I got the Gold T-shirt with 2 helmets on it at Goodwill Store. One was FL and the other WV. I cut both helmets out and used the rest of the T-shirt for the pillow. Since I cannot afford to buy fabrics I use any type of clothing fabrics. It is amazing how a person can "recycle" clothes for quilting and anything else ;)
