    Beautiful quilt for your hubby. I hope he smiled when he saw it. My hubby hates to pose for pictures, too. His expression is typically one of a middle school boy being goofy.

    My first response is "was he in the Marine Corp:??? My older son looks like that when his pic is taken. [they were not allowed to smile in photos was back when]

    Great quilt! It is hard to get my hubby to smile. I think it had to do with his upbringing and was told if he was smiling he must be up to mischief or doing the devils work. So bizarre from his Baptist preacher father, who then left is wife and four children for a 16 year old choir girl. I don't think he has ever gotten over it and to this day I have to beg him to smile for pictures (been married almost 30 years and he is in his 60's) Some things are hard to break when learned at a young age. Plus he was also in the Marines.
