New quilt Inspector

Bimble is absolutely beautiful! You're a wonderful person for taking him in and caring for him. I have a similar story for my little "Peppie" (my avatar), he was abandoned and living in a vacant lot 2 doors down from me. He was also in bad shape. We did the same as you and took him to the vet (after trying to locate his owner, to no avail, of course) for shots and neutering and heart worm test. He is absolutely a wonderful little dog and gets along quite well with his two brothers, Rocky and Rosco, the Boston Terriers.

My quilt inspectors, Presious and Grace, were also street sweepers. I would not trade them for anything. Your Bimble, is beautiful. glad hs is finding his way to fit into your home.
I would be the Mad Cat lady if I could bring all of them home with me.

I have adopted many homeless cats in the past--From Henrietta who was going to be put down because her owner was moving and couldn't take her with...Mama Calico who my brother thought was ours so fed it and in return she gave us a batch of seven to find homes for...Freddie Freeloader who decided after bumming free meals for a year that my house would be a good home----MissyBitchy who Freddie decided could use a new home too so brought her home with him one day--and our present Truffles who decided being in a warm home with lots of love is WAAAY better than being feral.
And everyone of them has brought our family pleasant memories and love to share.
