    LOL, OK, I'm going to be the first to show my newbieness... what does.."just 2/12 strips with star" mean and why isn't that some kind of pattern? When I find the friendship star pattern, will it be obvious where and how to connect the strips to it? And how to connect the two shashing strips to the blocks getting the star to end up there at the corners?

    What a joy to behold!
    Are they snowflakes or does the design represent some sort of lace?

    Would love for you to post a close up shot of a single block so we can see your embroidery better.

    And btw, no embroidery police allowed in the quilt board...so we are not looking for mistakes...just so see better.
