Welcome, Berrypatch, from Central Texas. Making a beautiful quilt like that the first time means we'll hopefully be seeing many more!

I have a Brother Disney INNOVIS 900D. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MODEL-it only has a 4x4 emb hoop. I feel it would definitely be better to get one with a 5x7 hoop. The embroidery used on the pictured quilt was done on a Janome (model?) at the shop where I quilt. I was "sew" excited with the embroidery that I just ran out & bought the Brother because of the sale price, rebate & store credit. If I had given it some thought, I would have purchase a better (5x7 hoop) refurbished machine that I could afford.

I quilt for charity w/a group on Fridays. I did take a few lessons first but everyone in the group is more than happy to help, offer suggestions, etc

Thank you ! Endless mt. shop is very nice. There are also 2 shops closer to you-American Ribbon and Pocono Sew & Vac in Stroudsburg. They do carry different qualities of fabric. Pocono Sew and Vac also has a great selections of machines.
