My home isn't big enough so we bought the shed..My quilting stuff is slowly taking over the house.Plus i plan on turning my crafty hobby into something that can allow me to stay home with the family making a little extra on the side. I don't ever expect to get rich..Just a few bucks to supplement our income now, with out me working 55+ hours. The kids are only going to be kids once. And they are so much more important then making 50 grand a year. I am lucky that i have my DH that is allowing me to follow my dreams. I will keep everyone up to date on how it is coming along. It is going to be slow and steady. But anything worth having is worth waiting for :D
I love your philosophy! Congratulations on getting to make your dream come true and your wonderful DH!

I have a a friend who recently got her DH to enclose the patio for her sewing room. She did something wonderful, put pot lights all across the ceiling. You know there is never enough light!!! Go the the Home Depot and ask about kinds of lights so you will be educated! She also had a couple of electrical plugs in the ceiling so she could plug her iron into it for her centered cutting/ironing table! Another thing she did was to have one whole wall as a design wall. Now she leaves her projects up there and doesn't forget about them. Saves storage space!! Good luck on your new room, you lucky girl! God Bless your DH for understanding that you need this space and supporting your need!!!
