I've only made a log cabin table runner in the past and it was from Jordan Fabrics so was very easy. Seeing your quilt makes me wonder if I still have the directions around here somewhere to use for a throw quilt. Thank you for such great inspiration. And the other quilt would make a great throw quilt for a toddler or young teen for Project Linus.

Toogie, the Deb Tucker ruler is called Corner Beam. I would like to make another quilt using it but reversing the colors.
When I make log cabin quilts, I always use the Creative Grid ruler. The strips are cut a little larger and the block is squared up after making each "round". The blocks always end up the correct size.

Congratulations on two great finishes. I love Kansas Troubles and your log cabin quilt is lovely and really shows them off. The other one would make a great baby quilt if I can find my pastel solids.

Wonderful finishes…looks like you have been busy already to start of the year. Look forward to seeing your next project.

Both are great! I'm a little more fond of the fire cracker quilt - so fun. Log cabins however are always a favorite.
