    I make the quilts approx. 40 x 50 inches. That way I can use 1 1/2 yards for the backing and I don't have to piece it. The batting I use comes from a local fabric outlet and it's actually coat lining. It's lightweight but warm and perfect for these quilts.

    A few years back I made just over 200 cancer quilts & I hear they are greatly appreciated.
