How Brave You are to use those intricate patterns for your Quilts for valor. I do Quilts for Wounded, but use squares, traingles, rectangles only. It's a good feeling to give to those in the veteran's hospitals.

The first one is actually done, my mom worked really hard on it. I think she's tossing that pattern though, not likely she'll ever do it again! It's all quilted, just needs the label.

The second one is mine, just got done finishing the top last night, so I'll be quilting it this weekend.

Thanks for looking, these are really near and dear to our hearts.

Thank you for what you are doing. I have been a part of several awarding of Quilts of Valor and I can tell you the are truly appreciated. I have personally witnessed grown men cry at the thought of someone they don't even know, thought enough to thank them with a Quilt of Valor Please keep up your good work as our service members certainly deserve this token of thanks.

Quilts of Valor is a non-profit organization that awards hand made, machine quilted quilts to any service member that has felt the effects of war from any conflict, any war. You do not have to be wounded as anyone in a war/conflict situation is altered in some manner. Please go visit QOVF.org to learn more about this wonderful group of people who make Quilts of Valor as a way to say "Thank you for your service" to our military.

Quilts for the Wounded is also a non-profit organization. We make the quilts for Veteran's who are hospitalized. Some are wounded, others are they for other medical issues. Yes, it is a blessing to be doing this for those who have served the USA in our times or stress. Our Veterans' now extend from the WWII era on to today.
