New Scrappy String Quilt
#71
I love string quilts & yours is gorgeous!! Been saving dryer sheets also to make one...don't like having to cut muslin for the foundation so I make mine on paper (cut to size with a papercutter!.) And since I have ton black Kona that I hate, I'll cut some up for strings...so I can have an eye-popping quilt like yours!!

I am saving my used ones to use as foundation pieces for sewing down the strings. It is the same concept as using paper for foundation piecing. Keep asking questions, that is how you learn.

What a pretty quilt. I'll bet it smells good too. I'll have to look string quilts up. Even though I've been on here over a year, I have only finished one quilt. I plan on making the next on a lot faster. LOL
