    wow! this is cool, im trying to learn applique. Which do you prefer...freezer paper or template plastic?

    Try both and see what you think. I do a LOT of applique and I don't use either. I trace the pattern on a thin but sturdy paper and then laminate it with a thin sheet of laminate. I bought a box at the office supply store. I learned this method from Linda Jenkins and my pieces are much more accurate then using either freezer paper or the thick template plastic. That said, I have friends who prefer to use both of the other methods. I really think it ends up being what works best for you.

    they are soooo cute.... love the background fabric, too! nice job! That "fusing" stuff is just a plain mystery to me!

    I think they are cute and when you get them finished you need to send them to me!! lol I love the look of applique - but am a little (lot) apprehensive about trying it!!
