Default New sewing machine table.

I must brag on my husband here. I asked if he could make me a sewing table with my machine inset flush with the table. I have been getting some quilts finished up over the last several months and it has been a struggle FMQing because the quilts keep getting caught on the corners of the extension table of my machine. Well...he found a dining table on Craig’s List that we went to see. It was about a foot wider than my current table from Ikea but the same length. It had been painted something awful and sloppily done. Pete took the whole table apart, stripped it, made the modifications needed and repainted it. Put a plexiglass insert around the machine. Love using it. Can’t wait to use it for FMQ.

You have a wonderful husband Congratulations on your beautiful, custom sewing table - I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

My hubby and I found a similar table on craigslist and he modified it to fit my Juki, very similar to how yours is, and I love it! I see you've got a similar slick surface too Great for gliding the quilts across the table.

    Enjoy!

Take extra good care of that man. Mine ran off with an elderly widowed grandmother we met in Sunday School. She thought he had money and he thought she had money and I ended up alone with all the property and bills.

Don't shed any tears. It was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Your table looks great, good job by your husband. It looks like you are hard at work on Bonnie Hunter's new mystery. Plus I see you have some nice antique crocheted pot holders displayed. Nice area to work in.

Very nice. My husband has been making shelves for his garage but I know I'd never get him to built me a sewing table. Good for your husband.
