Thanks Celeste, I was going to paint the cinderblocks today with the final color and then my daughter said she wants to go do something with me so I must put off painting until later. Oh well Kids before quilts.

know i can't tell you anything you don't already know, about having your own space, but to have it grow...been there, too!!! It is mahvel-ous, dahling!!! It will be as much fun as you are dreaming. I love my sewing room, and  when having those, 'what ifs' thoughts...fire, storm, etc....I always think about how to save all my babies, (projects, and fabrics, but mostly, my machines!!!!)
Have taken pics I haven't posted yet, and decided this was good, bc if I ever need to prove how much was in there!!!
I am sooo happy for you. I like seeing progress pictures too. If your like me, and either have no windows, or can't take glare from the ones you do, hang mirrors....doubles your lighting too!!! keep us posted, it's so much fun, to share this stuff, kw :D :D :D

I started to paint today. This is the new color. It is kinda creamy beige. I am not in love with it but it is nuetral. I will dress it up with colorful quilts.

i like the lighter color! It will really make all of your fabric and quilts stand out and will make them the focal point, as they should be!
