New Tote Bag - Needed a Break from Quilting
#43
That is fantastic! I have seen so many bags and totes on blogs etc that people are making....it really is a rage now. Love them.
Your fabric choices are great.
I have never been a 'sewer' and afraid to attempt to make these. Guess I am going to just have to give it a try. I prefer soft bags and totes over purses. My daughters got me a Dooney and Burke purse for Mom's Day 2 years ago and I never use it (to their understandable dismay)..it is so 'hard' and big. It just isn't me.
please continue to share these delightful creations!
warm quilt hugs, sue

i use fusible fleece in all my bags - i buy it by the bolt.
i fuse the fleece to the lining fabric and the outer fabric doesn't have anything on it.
i find the fusible fleece adds body and allows the bags to stand on their own.
i also put fusible fleece inside the straps so they're comfy.
