I changed the design a bit so it ends with a floral rather than a light. I added many new florals to my collection, and I greened up the light side. My goal was to give it more flower power, and uh, I think that happened alright. I'll post the before ones, then the news ones. Let me know which you prefer.

I'll be making small projects for a while--doll quilts, table runners, wall hangings... so I won't have to worry about a complicated lay out unless I make another bigger quilt. I'll be making log cabins squares along with a second project indefinitely. They're so much fun to create. I got two quilts back from the quilters on the 24th, so those just got the bindings on today... NOW starts the Bargello!!!

new blocks! Color isn't quite right...

The quilt from the old design--sold!

Better color. I'll have to be very mindful of which blocks go together.

Perhaps it is because the color is off (too red you said), but I prefer the before one and its layout. Maybe I am just into a calmer phase right now! Your work is beautiful and the later ones really do pop! I love log cabins and am about to start another one very soon.
