    I really don't know how to answer that question...it just "happens" - and of course it's matter of the right material. I really look for high quality fabrics and batting and I'm quite particular with that. I love to use the 11 of John James because theses needles don't bend so quickly. For that quilt I needed about 7 weeks to finish it, fulltime quilting 6-8 hours a day.
