Update - ok did three more squares tonight (had soccer all day and didn't even get to look at material until after 8 p.m.)

I have decided that each day one block will go wrong - I think that I cut the black material wrong or it just is the wrong type and was too stretchy - so I"m going to redo the black one and I can use this panel for a tote bag.

Keep in mind I have squared; trimmed or done anything - just documenting my WIP!!

I've decided to just do 9 squares - that will be big enough once I trim; square and add a border. So three more to go! Then the real work begins!

Redone Purple one - all cancers

    Black - Melanoma

Grey - Brain Cancer (that really is grey but my flash made it come out a brownish color for the ribbon - the flowers are brown)

Not sure if I will get the "finished project" up or not.

I finally decided on 8 squares of the ribbons...4 for the front 4 for the back....got all 8 finished - laid them out and somehow or another 4 of the squares are smaller than the other 4....can't figure it out - then realize that the first 4 I did - I cut everything at 2 1/2 - the next 4 - I cut at 2 inches....

Not sure if I'm going to finish it - thinking I might just take each block and make a tote bag....but I put it on the back burner for now!! Oh well....I must have been working on it at 3 a.m.!!
