    Default New York Sunshine

This is John Flynn's Red Hawk pattern - I created the border, and label. First time doing a NYB - and John makes it so easy - I am ready to do another! I also tried rounded corners for the first time. The applique flowers are an echo of the brown fabric print.

grammatjr your quilt is beautiful. New York Beauty is probably my favorite block but all the patterns I've seen are paper pieced and paper piecing and I are not friends. You said John Flynn made it easy; can you please explain what you mean? Is it templates or just a pattern or is it the dreaded paper piecing? (I know many love it but I've tried more than once and just don't get it).
