Thanks for the tip oksewglad. I suppose I could go to a 9-inch block to make it divisible by 3. Haven't really investigated it that carefully since I won't be starting for some time. Got to finish about 10 quilts before I can even think about it.

I just got the book. I have two quilts to make yet (thank yous to neighbors for helping me when my husband died three weeks ago.) 111 different blocks - Can't wait! Yes I can wait. These two quilts are more important to me right now. The first one I am making here is Floating Stars. I love that design and it is super easy and looks super hard. The other one I don't know yet.
Anyhow, I am really looking forward to doing the Farmer's Wife's Sampler. Really good for scraps!!!!! Edie
