    Thanks! The baby quilt was from a kit I picked up...I wanted to work with satin and velvet (what a pain! but the baby enjoyed the textures...). It was a "fun and done" type of quilt. No batting, so its nice and light for the summer.

    i love the first quilt. you have a great eye for color. the diagonal stripes work so well together.

    Both are beautiful...the second one reminds me of those pink/white/brown cellophane wrapped chocolate/coconut candies :D :D :D
