    Thank you everyone. These were rejects as I was just buying material I thought went together, the other material is shades of brown, tan, yellows (solid), and my wife said the blues just didn't fit in. The next project is actually all pieced together into a queen size, and it's a disappearing 9 block, with sashing in between each 9 block; the sashing is brown. I thought green, but after my wife and I put the blocks against both, I thought the brown was better as well. The new quilt top is actually better than the practice quilt, as I learned much on the practice run. I have donated it at work to be given as a Christmas gift to a female resident that does not have family to buy for her.
    Thanks for the kind words, sure hope the binding gets easier fast; course the other 3 corners looked better than the first, so even this quilt was improving.
