So this is how last week went. I'm working on a 100" x 100" quilt for one of my brothers in Maine. Got most of the top done, was hoping to get it completed before Aug but when I got the call for the 8 quilts all that gets set aside. That's how I do stuff. Soldiers first, no matter what, then what ever is on my list comes second. Everyone that knows me, understands how it works and is good with it.
Anyway, I spend 1 day, deciding on which patterns and fabrics to use and cutting out all 8 quilts. Then from there it's sew, sew and sew some more until they are all done. I do not machine quilt them, I haven't had time to learn how. I tie all my quilts and then machine bind them. They are not perfect but they are useable and look fairly nice so I'm happy with them. Yep I have throw quilts out that I didn't like or messed up so badly that it was easier to start over then to fix but that's another story. LOL
Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I really love doing these for them. It's the least I can do when they give so much of themselves.
