Just finished up my niece's quilt I started back in April - yes, I'm slow! Anyway, I will see her in Alabama for Thanksgiving so will take it down to her! It was great quilt - broken log cabin. The backing is the XO the Cat line and the perfect colors for her dorm room.
I always forget the label, so I made a label "tag" and sewing it in the binding. Printed it off on the computer, sandwiched it with batting and backing, turned it rightside out and put the raw edge against the raw edge of the quilt and sewed it in with the binding, then just used it as another layer of the quilt when I handsewed the binding on. I think it's pretty clever!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone and next up, my husband's quilt consisting of about 500 flying geese..I sure love that man!
