Beautiful !!!

Love the pictures !! Thank you for sharing !!! :-D

I can remember the " Welcome to Ohio " sign when I would go back home. It still looks the same as it did in 1990, that was the last time I went back home for a visit.

Thanks so much for taking us on this journey with you. Was great seeing the wedding pics...and I am sure the newlyweds loved the quilt. Really liked your design on the scalloped border corners. Great job all around!

First time I've been able to get online and see the quilt, really special! I don't recognize any of the ones I sent, but i know they'll find a good home.

if they are not part of this quilt, there are two more in the works for the chemo quilts ~ stay tuned as I get those tops put together :) they won't be quite as intense as Jess' quilt, but I am not going to just slap them together, the handwork really does the hankies justice :)

Here are more pics of the final stitching... I stuck with mostly lazy dazy swirlies inside the quilt. Large feathers on the outer borders, plus the corner design...

LOL the love is stitched permanently into the quilt!!! :)

you can see how I bypassed the crewel work and swirled around it...

this is a little more closeup on the white cornices ~ these two had small holes almost dead center in the hankies ~ so they worked perfectly for cutting and using at the mid-point for a white-on-white filler ~ it was REALLY hard to get the nerve to stitch on these four pieces! two have this design, the other two are the love design

and the whole quilt right before I packed it up and shipped it off... my helpers decided to hide today, daddy didn't want his pic taken boohoo

I totally forgot to take a picture of the back after quilting ~ I was trying to get the shaded pics of the front... oops! ... here is the back of the quilt before I brought it back home to finish up the stitching ~ just laid on the hotel bed... my label is in the middle of the stripe

there were two more used, I forgot to take pics of every little thing ~ there is one on the journal cover, and also one framed with the card ~ I really wanted the white one with the crocheted butterfly on its bum on the quilt, but it was so much smaller it was throwing the "flow" off of the ring of bflys. I had to change it out, it was just bugging me, it was like an interruption of energy or something. My husband just shook his head, because she was already 3/4 applique'd on when I made that decision. I'll see if I can get pics emailed to me of the journal :)

But now after the 4th holiday I'll be putting together the chemo tops ~ so I'll share those too :)
