Dawn, I just love it !!! Soooo BEAUTIFUL !! Jess will love it forever & a day !! :-)
Will be watching progress. I am sooo glad I was able to send hankies !! :-D
The folding & hoping they are square is a pain & it doesn't work most of the time, but they turn out beautiful any way ! :-D

been fussing with the hankies one more time all day since I got up. I figured I'd give some of the whoopsies a 2nd chance, most of the still wouldn't cooperate. BUT not to worry, those are still very square-able to make the chemo quilt that I am planning. That is simple blockwork, and one large hanky becomes 4 blocks with sashing. I saw a sample one, and it was beautiful... I may have enough to make two tops after I am done with Jess' :)

So far what I see is awesome, can't wait to see more of the progress and finished product. And I can see in my mind the flowers you are gonna make for the scraps and they are gonna be awesome.

working on the roses, then hankies today and tomorrow... slow going, lots of applique pieces, but its getting there... I am frustrated because I cannot FB my whole piece, only little snippets (she's on my friends list). LOL but DDIL saw it this morning... I hope I don't get asked to make another! She already has a few quilts for my grandkids...

    It is beautiful !!
I will have to do some rethinking on my next one, hankies are appliqued on blocks, just have to figure out how I will be putting it together. :-D
