    It's beautiful and I'm sure your friend will love it! I also love the backing fabric and the quilting is very good, too!

    It looks as if you have my problem with some fabric. You can't cut it up. The backing is one I would use as I couldn't cut it and it looks fantastic on the back and the front so wonderful.

    Beautiful! Great fabrics, color combinations and quilting. If your friend doesn't love it, I will be happy to take if off your hands.
    PS: I just took a look at the original McCalls pattern and would never have thought that it could be turned into something this beautiful. Your addition of sashing to the blocks really makes the design.
