For some really good online quilting classes, I like the www.Craftsy.com website. One really helpful class teaches various methods for how to quilt large quilts on a home sewing machine. There are also some excellent free motion classes for various skill levels.
It did take lots of time to quilt and I ripped out 24 triangles that I couldn't live with! I recommend you learning to quilt on your home machine, even if you only do lap quilts and smaller projects! It is lots of fun unless you are shoving around a large quilt and then I can't say it's real enjoyable. But doable. If you don't have classes to learn locally, then there is lots and lots of online help that is excellent.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

Very pretty. I can understand getting tired of looking at a quilt as it's happened to me. But, as happened with you, with the passage of time, you forget your mistakes and suddenly you remember why you made the quilt in the first place!
