Default Nightmare Before Christmas baby quilt

I finished and mailed a baby quilt with Nightmare Before Christmas fabric - the parents are fans. Same pattern I've used for several baby quilts - Fatty, Fatty, Two by Four - it was intended for fat quarters. I purchased the two feature fabrics, the rest was from my stash - it had to be - stores were closed when I needed to start the quilt. 49 by 49 - a little generous, but he's a big baby - he'll grow into it.

Your quilt looks great. l I'm not fond of the pattern name... sounds like a grade school taunt

Very nice and as for the name, the movie so I like the name. I didn't know there was "Nightmare...." fabric. Something to look for.

I borrowed the movie by that name from a friend before I started cutting, but it wouldn't load on my DVD player, so I just winged it.
I heard from the mother - she says she wants to steal the baby's quilt. I told her no - she got her college graduation one last year. I still need to do a wedding one for her and her husband.

These quilts are adorable. The simplistic design is great. Baby quilts are never big enough and you are right he will grow into it. I would have never thought to make a baby quilt from Nightmare before Christmas fabrics. Sounds good to me....
