    Here's the focus fabric nine patch fabrication that I did for DS for Christmas. I wish I would have used a lighter color perle cotton for the big stitch, but I was concerned about the stitching being too obvious on the dark backing. A learning curve that I will remember the next time.

    When picking out your thread, unwind a good length and just swirl it on top of your quilt. Do this with a few different threads, and it will give you a better idea of what it will look like when used for the quilting.

    i love th 9 patch pizzaz's.. i did one in pandas... it is one of my favorite quilts. beautiful...
