PS. Izy, I did not read whole thread or would have noticed you haven't left yet. We are going to miss you and can't wait until you are settled and back on.
I wasn't around much over the last few weeks, been busy on other things,so thats probably why you thought I had gone but got back into sewing a couple of weeks ago, and no doubt I will find it a real wrench to disengage myself from the board...serious withdrawals coming on just at the thought of it!! :D

Glad you like the Noah quilt, I will be adding a couple of more borders to it...so not finished yet!! :D

    Izy:
I see you live in Spain. I live in Argentina. I know what you mean about withdrawal from the board and the computer in general. We have periodic lack of phone and internet service here, at least 4 or 5 times a year and sometimes it lasts for weeks, YUCK!! Never get use to that so you have my sympathy I know what you will be going through.
Please post pictures when you finish the quilt. It is lovely and looks done to me. I love the colors.

Wow Argentina, how do you find life there??

My youngest son gives me grief about how much time I spend online....payback for his teenage years when I used to moan at him....I couldn't understand how he could spend hour after hour after hour on the net.........  :D

I will be posting pictures when I can access the internet through my laptop, maybe at friends etc., so will be able to keep you updated that way :D

Life is not too bad here. Quite, sometimes too quite. Took a lot of getting use to my being a NY girl for most of my life. Still have good and bad days, but that would be anywhere. I do miss the US and would live there if we could afford to but we can not retire there on what we both make. So I go back once a year for about a month or so to visit my son, DDIL, my 3 beautiful grandsons and the rest of the family so that is always nice. Will be leaving here to go there right after the 4th of July and will stay until the first or second week in August. I can not WAIT!!
I am ordering material now to bring back with me. They do not sell 100% printed cotton here so I do a lot of internet ordering, LOL.
Hey, is this considered chatting??? LOL Nice we are both online at the same time.

Penny, I understand about the life style change, I lived most of my life in inner city Manchester, UK, where everything and everyone rush rush rush, so much pressure!! Life in general is much more relaxed, even the more official side of things here is very laid back i.e. appointment keeping...no worries if the lawyers are late by an hour etc...and vice versa, you can ring up and just say I will be there in a while....vale vale vale!!

It CAN make you very lazy though.....
