    I haven't heard it called Monkey Wards in years LOL--I thought my friends and I were the only ones who mangled store names!

    Love the quilt. You could echo around Darth Vader in the dark areas and then do some crosshatching for the border areas, or an all over meander in the borders. That would be quick and easy.

    Thanks, for the comments, if my machine quilting was better I would probably do the outline of Darth then some echoing. But sadly I can barely SID straight. When you meander no one knows where you wanted to go. So I may try to do some strategic meandering near Darth, I have some plastic I will place over it and do some drawing when I finish basting it and see what looks good.

    Great quilt, he will love it. Mangled store names along with Monkey Wards we have Came-apart (K-Mart) & Wally world(walmart) so funny to hear other people from other parts of the country call them the same thing.
