Default Non Traditional Quilts for Grands

I enjoy taking a traditional quilt pattern and turning it into a maverick. Both of the quilts are backed with minkee and have only minimal machine quilting to help keep them soft and puffy. For the "Safari Labyrinth" I used small "fancy stitch icons" to tack the layers together instead of yarn ties or heavy machine quilting. I tried to make constellations in the "midnight sky" border. Hope you enjoy the mavericks!!

Great quilts! I really like how you made them "your own." Very creative.
